Algerian Soldiers
Following Monday’s attack which claimed the lives of eight Tunisia Soldiers near Algerian border by alleged fighters in Mount Chaambi, Algeria’s army, according to the Interior Minister Daho Ould Kablia, has reinforced its forces along the eastern border with Tunisia, CEOAFRICA.com gathered.
In his speech, Mr. Kablia states that the reinforcement was imperative due to current unrest ongoing in Tunisia.
Several Tunisian Soldiers have lost their lives along the Algerian border, as their hunt for Islamist group persist. Algeria has condemned in strong terms, the base act of terrorism that resulted in several death among their Tunisia counterpart.
Further report expressed Algeria’s condemnation on what it described as “false allegations” against the country from certain circle in Tunisia, following a statement released from Tunisia that Algeria’s move was just a way of deceive Tunisian people as if they are mobilizing to unite against terrorism.
Mr. Kabrila said there had been an “exchange of security information between Algeria and its neighbours to fight various scourges that threaten the security and stability of the region.
