The Bodija to Agodi State Secretariat road in Ibadan was taken over by Catholic demonstrators today.

They were led by the Archbishop of Ibadan Archdiocese,Gabriel Abegunrin.

The protest was part of a nationwide protests ordered by the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN), aimed at showing the Church’s displeasure about the incessant killings going on in different parts of the country.

The demonstrators included Priests, Reverend Sisters, Seminarians, Knights and other Parishioners. They marched from the SS Peter and Paul Seminary, Bodija to the Governor’s Office at the state secretariat where they were received by the governor’s Chief of Staff, Dr. Gbade Ojo.
