10 CLUBS OPT OUT OF SIERRA LEONE LEAGUE IN PROTEST AGAINST DISQUALIFICATION OF CANDIDATES

10 out of 14 Premier League clubs had demonstrated their position to boycott the Sierra Leone league.

CEOAFRICA news correspondence gathered that the decision was taken in protest against the disqualification of Mohammed Kallon and four other candidates from the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) leadership elections, which will be held in Freetown on Saturday.

Te clubs involved in the boycott are, Diamond Stars, Gem Stars, Kambui Eagles, Old Edwardians FC, FC Kallon, Bo Rangers, Ports Authority FC, Mighty Blackpool, Central Parade FC, and Free Town City FC.

However, both Premier League Board and SLFA have resolved to quit the ongoing league till further notice while consultations are going on.
