Jame Adiodun Olotu, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), declared that the 28 power projects  going on across the country under the National Integrated Power Project (NNPP) will be ready before the end of 2013.

James Olotu at the commissioning and handing over event of three injection substations in Ibadan and Oshogbo, said that 33 projects have been commissioned  and handed over while the remaining 28 projects are 70 – 90 percent near completion, soliciting the support of host communities so that the project deadline be met.

He assured that the substations are meant to provide solution to the power supply, providing more quality power to the residents of the environment which the existing transformer before now could not provide.

Olotu however, said that the 10 power plants being handled by NDPHC under the NIPP were expected to contribute 5,000megawatts to the national grid when completed.
