A lecturer in Political Science and International Relations of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Mr Adekunle Alaye has revealed that the six tiers of denuclearisation policies cannot be achieved as long as insincerity predominantly thrives among international leaders.
Mr Adekunle made this known on Thursday, June 28,2018 when he was hosted at Ogun State Television (OGTV) station on the programme “Contemporary Issues in International Politics” with the topic “Trump/Kim Meeting: Impact on Denuclearization globally”.

He said “One of the challenges strolling Kim/Trump meeting cannot be too distant from distrust and insincerity between the two leaders. The same Donald Trump who said Kim’s body language appeared that the meeting is going to be successful and also confirmed the success of the meeting wrote on his twitter handle two days after that North Korea is not doing away completely with nuclear arms. This is not limited to the two countries, it is applicable to some nations of the world when it comes to denuclearization”
“As long as they still embellish themselves in that act of distrust; disarmament, arm controls and even denuclearization cannot be achieved” he said.

Adekunle also opined that “China is still more of a territorial affinity with the North Korea, so if China is going to play a neutral role in this case, it will give a sense of belonging or soft spot to North Korea.”
The lecturer, who called on the security Councils of the United Nations (UN) to play objective roles in the matter, however said that the United States contributes 22% of UN annual budget (5.4million dollars), so the United States is indirectly in possession of UN.
The United States President, Donald Trump and North Korea leader, Kim Jong-un met on June 12, 2018 over the denuclearization of the Korean Pennisula.
