Oyo Guber Aspirant, Hon. Sugar Commissions Egbeda Community Hospital

The Federal lawmaker representing Lagelu/Akinyele Constituency, Chairman House Committee, Urban Development and Regional Planning and 2019 gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State, Hon. Temitope Olatoye Sugar, through his Olatoye Sugar Foundation(OSF) on Wednesday 19th July, 2018 commissioned a health care centre at Erunmu community in Egbeda Local government, Ibadan.

The Olatoye Sugar Foundation runs a free weekly medical service which is open for all irrespective of religion or race.

In his welcome address, the lawmaker appreciated the people of Egbeda Community for the privilege given to him for siting the hospital in their community and urged them to make good of the hospital.

Speaking with CEOAfrica, Hon Sugar said: “this is not the first time of doing this kind of thing, OSF has been in the business for a long time, we have different zonal offices, one in Oyo, Oke-Ogun, Ogbomoso and Ibarapa. This hospital will be open twice in a week for members of the public; Sundays and Mondays.”

Hon Sugar also assured the people of Egbeda to expect more dividends of democracy from him.

Chief Tunji Adio, One of the Erunmu Community Leaders

One of the Erunmu community leaders, Chief Tunji Adio while speaking with CEOAfrica said: “I feel extremely happy to see this happen because it’s going to give benefits to our rural health care.”  When asked what he can say about Hon. Sugar, he said: “He is a very nice man that he doesn’t tell lies, he’s philanthropic, he’s brave, bold and honest.”

 Mr. Ademola Adewole Egbeyola, who is the Chairman Olatoye Sugar Foundation in Egbeda, expressed his Joy while speaking with CEOAfrica, said: “I am very happy seeing this kind of thing happened in my eye and by the grace of God come 2019, Hon. Sugar will be the next Oyo State governor.”

OSF health team operated on many patients with different kinds of ailment.  

Amos Abodunde (Patient)

One of the patients who gave his name as Amos Abodunde while speaking with CEOAfrica said: “I have been suffering from cataracts for over 10 years and I want to use this medium to thank God for using Honable Olatoye Temitope Sugar to restore my sight. It is my wish that God almighty will make him the next Governor of Oyo State, he said.”
