Over 807 police officers and men drawn from various divisions, departments, units and squads of Enugu State Police Command participated in a fitness exercise at the weekend.
Addressing them after the exercise, the Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Danmallam, said the command would continue to use sports to unite and create synergy with other security agencies in the state.
Danmallam, represented by the Command’s Sports Officer, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, said that the exercise had afforded personnel of various security agencies the opportunity to interact with and know one another better.
Justin Agu, a Superintendent of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, in his remark, said the exercise had helped to improve the relationship between the police and the NSCDC in the state.
Agu said: “It is better we work in synergy since we work for the same Federal Government and serve the good people of Nigeria living in Enugu State.”
