First female pharmacist VC in Nigeria and the current Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Prof.  Chinedum Peace Babalola has been awarded by the African Student Parliament (ASUP) with PAN-AFRICAN DISTINGUISHED LEADERSHIP AWARD as a scientist/ researcher, mentor, an accomplished leader, drug abuse fighter, educationist and many others.

The PAN-AFRICAN DISTINGUISHED LEADERSHIP AWARD is presented to special individuals whose lives exemplify the ideal of living for the sake of others and dedicate themselves to  the practice that promotes African morals values, international harmony, corporation and establishment of a culture transcending race, national and religious barriers.
