First Female Pharmacist VC, Prof. Babalola Bags ASUP Award

The  First Female Pharmacist VC in Nigeria  and the current  Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Professor (Mrs) Chinedum Peace Babalola has been honoured with an award of excellence for her selfless service to humanity by the African Students Union Parliament.

While giving her the award, the student parliament described the Professor as a good mentor, researcher, an accomplished leader and a fighter of drug abuse.

The student body noted that they heard about the Don’s goodwill from student all over African countirs and even  her students at the University of Ibadan  spoke great things about the erudite proffesor . The student body added  that her excellent contribution in one of their programmes in Ghana contributed in reaching the decision to honour her with the prestigious award.

The First Female Pharmacist Professor was honoured alongside the prestigious Chrisland University.

In her remarks, the Professor Chinedum  who expressed joy over the award, thank God for bringing it her way. She also expressed gratitude to ASUP for deeming it fit to honour her.

Among other initiatives, the African Students Union Parliament is currently empowering African Youths with what they need to develop the continent.

Also, the body is waging war against drug abuse and projecting exemplary leadership.

ASUP started in the days of Kwame Nkrumah and Zik of Africa who were studying abroad and at the same time promoting Africa.
