Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State on Wednesday finally dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The move has put paid to weeks of speculations that the governor had perfected plans to defect from the ruling party to the PDP.

Ortom announced his decision a while ago at meeting with local government chairmen and councillors in Government House, Makurdi.
