A group of hoodlums suspected to be hired assassins on Friday morning   attacked and killed an All Progressives Congress (APC) Local Government Chairman, Mr. Sunny Ejeagwu.

The victim was the APC Chairman for Ideato North Council Area of the state.

He was among the Local Government Chairmen elected in the fresh Congress conducted in the State.

The case presently is under investigation.
