Ebonyi State House of Assembly yesterday, confirmed the appointment of Mr. Magnus Eze, a veteran journalist,  as the Coordinator of Okposi Development Centre in Ohaozara Local government Area of the state.      

Also confirmed by the Assembly were three members of the state Civil Service Commission, Mr. Celestine Ogbuzuru, Mr Innocent Itapa and Mrs. Henrietta Udeh.

Eze was appointed following the removal of the former Coordinator, Mike Onu by Governor  Martin Elechi.

A member, representing Ohaukwu North, Frank Onwe ,moved the motion for the ratification of Eze’s appointment and  he was seconded by  Eni Uduma Chima (Afikpo South West).

Eze promised that  as co-ordinator of the development center, peace would be  the  focal points of his administration,stating that  he would reach out to traditional institutions, and  other stakeholders of the centre.
