News reaching the desk of CEOAFRICA.com from Khartoum, the capital of Sudan says the Plane of President Omar al-Bashir was blocked from passing through Saudi Arabia airspace Sunday as he tried to fly to Iran.

Sources reported that President Bashir’s plane was forced to turn around in mid-air and go back to Khartoum after being denied the permission to cross over Saudi territory. President Bashir was going to Iran to attend the inauguration of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia government is yet to make any comment regarding the allegation.
