The Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN), the oldest academic association in the country, established in 1995 was well represented at the just concluded inaugural lecture of its president, Prof. C.B.N Ogbogbo which took place at the University of Ibadan on Thursday.

Council members of the association from different parts of the country were in attendance to add colour to the occasion.

The lecture had in attendance Prof. Chukwuma Osakwe, Prof. S.O Aghalino, prof. Okpeh, Prof. Yakubu A.O, Prof Dan O.C, Dr Mfon Ekpootu, Dr. Ben Japhet Audu, Dr. Philip Afaha, Dr. Animashaun Basir, Dr. O.A Nwaokocha, Dr. Muhammed Kyari, Dr. Stephen Temegha, Dr. Enibokun Uzebu, Dr. Jacinta C. Nwaka, Dr. Sati U. Fwatshak, Dr. Fidelis Egbe, Akachi Odoemene PhD and Samuel Segun Ojo.
