Twenty-year-old man, Azeez Rahman has been arrested for allegedly having canal knowledge with a two-year-old girl.

The suspected was arrested by men of the Oyo State Police Command on Sunday at Dalemo Street, Bembo, Apata.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Olabisi Ilobanafor who confirmed the incident on Monday the suspect was arrested following a tip-off.

According to her, one Mr Wale Oyewusi had reported at Kuola Police Station that his younger brother's daughter (Mojisola Adebimpe was defiled by the suspect.

She said the suspect had been transferred to the state Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigation.
