Activities for the 63rd annual conference of the Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN) kicking off today has now gathered pace as the president of the Society, Prof. Christopher Ogbogbo and host of dignitaries have started arriving at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), venue of this year’s conference.
The 2018 edition of the HSN conference with the theme “Impact of the Military Factor in Nigeria History since 1960” will be bringing into focus the contributions of the nation’s history since post-independence era.
The President of the HSN, Prof. Ogbogbo is the Chief host of the conference while the Commandant of the NDA, Maj. Gen. Adeniyi Oyebade is the host.
A host of dignitaries are expected to grace the event which include the President Muhammadu Buhari; Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, Service Chiefs, Royal fathers; the academia among others
