CEOAFRICA boss to grace ACALAN workshop in Congo

ICT expert and CEOAfrica managing director, Prince Cletus Ilobanafor is expected to attend ACALAN's workshop scheduled to hold between October 17 to 19 in Congo Brazzaville.

The workshop with the theme "Harmonisation of the writing system of the Betifang, Lingala and Kinkongo Vehicular Cross-border Languages" among other things will aim to harmonize the differences in orthographic practices, develop a standardize form of writing for each of the languages and to set harmonized rules of grammar.

Those expected at the workshop include: members of the Beti-fang, Kikongo and Lingala vehicular cross-border language commissions; Staff of the Secretariat; ACALAN's National structures from countries in which the languages concerned are spoken.

Others are the representatives of the Ministries of Culture and Education of the Republic of Congo; members of the civil societies; and representatives of UNESCO/OIF/SIL.

The workshop will be streamed live via www.acalan.tv.
