The management of Dangote Cement Plc has said its new product, Dangote BlocMaster, is required for the construction of roads in difficult terrains in the Niger Delta.

The Group Managing Director of the cement company, Mr Joe Makojo, who described the Niger Delta as a peculiar terrain with high sulphur content, stated that the soil needed concrete application for quality road construction.

Makojo, who was represented by the Chief Marketing Officer of the company, Mr Oare Ojeikere, said this during the unveiling of BlocMaster to moulders, bricklayers and other cement users in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

“For an area like this (Niger Delta), the Dangote BlocMaster becomes a better offer for you to use. The people in this area require cement that is stronger than normal just because of the terrain,” he said.
