The first lady of Oyo state, Mrs Florence Ajimobi has congratulated the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, PSN on the occasion of the society';s 91st anniversary.
She gave the congratulatory message while receiving a delegation of the PSN led by the national President Pharm. Ahmed Yakassai and the state chairman Pharm. Abiodun Ajibade at Government house before embarking on a walking exercise as part of activities to flag off this year';s annual conference of the PSN in Ibadan on Monday.

She said, "On behalf of the good people of Oyo state, I say a big congratulations to the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria on your 91st anniversary. 91 years in the life of anyone is not a joke not to talk of a society or an association.
"Even though I am not in the medical field, I have an NGO called Access to Basic Medical Care Foundation and I have been able to partner with a lot of pharmacists in Nigeria, and I must commend their commitment to the well being of the people and I can say pharmacists have a large heart. We are brothers and sisters in progress, so I join you to say ';no to drug abuse';, I also want to encourage every pharmacist out there to join the society because it is very necessary. If we don';t come together with one voice it will be difficult to say no to drug abuse but if we speak with one voice I am sure we will be able to bring the level of drug abuse in Nigeria to the lowest level."
