Prof. Peace Babalola has received the May & Baker Nigeria PLC prize for professional excellence in Pharmacy for 2018.

The award which is usually keenly contested was presented to her on Tuesday at the annual conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, PSN tagged "Innovative Disruptions in Pharmacy in Emerging Economies: A Road map for Nigeria" currently holding in Ibadan.

The recognition is coming on the back of her laudable contributions to pharmaceutical research and is yet another feather to her already well decorated cap.

She expressed her joy at been presented with the award noting that it will only spur her to do more.

Prof. Babalola is the first female Professor of the University of Ibadan and is currently the Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta.
