Two supervisory councillors of Safana local government area of Katsina state have been kidnapped, online reports reveals.

They are Hussaini Wanzam (Finance) and Bishir Dan Jikko (Water and Sanitation).

It was gathered that the duo were abducted by their captors on their way to Batsari after close of work yesterday.

Untill now, no ransom has been named by their abductors.
