Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola has joined her voice in pouring encomium on the late Kofi Annan.

She praised the sacrificial life that the former UN Secretary General led in his lifetime. She gave the remark at the inauguration of the Africa Progress Group, APG, on Tuesday in Abeokuta.

She noted that the late Icon was known for peace all through his lifetime- something she strongly believes is needed around the world especially in trying times as these.

APG is the successor of Africa Progress Panel which was chaired by the late Kofi Annan. APG is currently been chaired by former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo.

Representatives of the President of Ghana, Akufo-Addo Nana Addo, representatives Governor of Ogun state Ibikunle Amosun, and the representative of the Alake of Egbaland were on hand to grace the occasion.
