CEOAfrica MD to attend ACALAN workshop in Kigali

Managing Director of CEOAfrica, Prince Cletus Illobanafor will be attending the African Academy of Languages (ACALAN) Operational and Planning Workshop holding in Kigali.

The Workshop which is aimed at establishing the Arabic, Sango and Isizulu Language Commissions is scheduled to hold between December 21st to 23rd.

The workshop will also be looking to map out priority areas of the Vehicular Cross-border Language Commissions and to produce action plans based on the priority areas identified.

Furthermore, modalities on the operation of the Arabic, Sango and Isizulu Vehicular Cross-border Language Commission and the National Language Structures will be established in the course of the workshop.

ACALAN – a linguistic arm of the African Union, AU has been at the forefront of developing and promoting the use of African languages with the aim of seeing them become official languages and languages of instructions.
