DIGs of Nigeria Police force to retire as AIG Adamu Mohammed emerges new IGP

The presidency will on Tuesday announce the appointment of AIG Adamu Mohammed as the acting Inspector General of Police (IGP).

An impeccable source told CEOAFRICA Monday night that Mohammed, an indigene of Nasarawa state, will take over from outgoing IGP, Ibrahim Idris.

A presidency source had earlier confirmed to NAN that President Muhammadu Buhari had zeroed in on the senior officer.
