How we got 100% accreditation for all our courses – Chrisland VC, Prof. Babalola

Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola has revealed the secrets to the recent success recorded by the institution with regards to the full accreditation of all its academic programmes.

According to Prof. Babalola, “the institution since its inception has gone all out to ensure that its academic programmes meet up with the required standard,” she stated.

She added that the institution strives to ensure that the depth of the programmes provide sufficient knowledge to enable students identify appropriate strategies for the implementation of knowledge acquired in solving industrial/societal problems.

Research also played a crucial role as the students developed relevant research skills by carrying out significant research projects in their respective programmes. This according to her also helped the students to pick up critical thinking and investigative skills on the topic being researched.

The programmes, she revealed are structured in such a way that they enable for development of practical skills, skills she stressed would help the students forge successful career paths.

The VC of the institution also noted that the availability of infrastructural support like laboratories, library, ICT facilities among others for effective learning also aided their course in getting the nod of the NUC to accredit all the courses the institution had presented for accreditation.

Speaking further on how the academic programmes of the institution got accredited, Prof. Babalola noted that the progrmmes are been taught insuch a way that the students develop abilities to work either as an individual or as part of a team.

“Above all the exemplary leadership and support of the Founder and Chairman of Chrisland Schools, Mrs. Winifred Awosika on whose vision the school is running coupled with the commitment and professionalism of the staffs have made the accreditation a success,” she disclosed.
