Chrisland University VC, Students Undertake ‘Walk for Life’ exercise

Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola joined students of the department of Criminology and Security Studies of the university in its maiden ‘Walk for Life’ exercise.

The walk which took place within the institution’s campus on Thursday was led by Mr. Haruna Abdullahi, the course lecturer in the department. The ‘Walk for Life’ exercise also featured jogging and some other regular exercises.

Prof. Babalola admonished the students on the importance of engaging in regular exercises in order keep the body fit and stay healthy. She added that it was crucial to keep fit especially as it relates to their profession.

The well decorated professor of Pharmacy also enjoined the students to learn karate skills for self-defense and protection against all forms of assault. Furthermore, she strongly recommended the exercise to the entire staffs and students of the University, while highlighting the health benefits of taking part in regular exercises.

On their part, the students admit that the session was very challenging but fun fill. They expressed their pleasure in being part of the exercise while also thanking the university management for introducing the ‘Walk for Life’ exercise.
