A group of BMK bike-riders in Lagos hub is helping to keep young people off from drugs abuse through BMX-ing.

The 'Lagos BMX Crew' wants youths to get into the sport as way a keeping themselves out of trouble.

The leader of the group, Matthew Temitope Solomon known as ‘starboy’ says bike riding without skate-parks is a tough experience in Nigeria.

The group however advised the Nigerian youths to “check out the sports, they will definitely like it.”

BMX is an abbreviation for bicycle motocross or bike motocross. It is a cycle sport performed on BMX bikes, either in competitive BMX racing or freestyle BMX, according to Wikipedia.
