Oyo 2019 Election - The Chairman of Zenith Labour one of the leading parties in the alliance talks on Saturday evening, denied endorsing Engr Seyi Makinde as it’s sole candidate ahead of Saturday’s gubernatorial elections.

This is coming minutes after the SDP governorship candidate announced the endorsement of Seyi Makinde as Coalition Guber Candidate.

The Chairman of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), in the state, Mr. Wole Abisoye, in a Telephone chart with CEOAFRICA said that his party was part of the proposed coalition, but ZLP had not adopted any candidate, saying: “The meeting was inconclusive and we have adjourned till Monday. When we meet, we will decide.

“The coalition meeting for this evening was inconclusive. My party, the ZLP has not endorsed any governorship candidate. Bolaji Ayorinde, who spoke, to the press, spoke on behalf of his party, the SDP.”

In the same manner, ‘Damola Adeoye, Media Assistant to Senator Lanlehin, in statement said coalition talk is still on going and no candidate has been endorsed.
