The Federal High court, Jalingo division has barred the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sani Danladi, from participating in the March 9 Taraba governorship elections.

The court disqualified the former Taraba deputy governor and acting governor for allegedly falsifying his age in the documents he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
