It's just a few months to the beginning of rainfall and several parts of the commercial capital of Nigeria have been disfigured with floods.

The pictures below were taken on the streets of Iju Ishaga in Lagos State.

Residents were forced to stay indoors due to high rise in water level in the area.

As it is known, Lagos has always battled with inadequate drainage facilities.
