Neymar, a Paris Saint-Germain F.C. striker has been given a three-game ban for lashing out at a fan in lieu of a loss in the French Cup final last month.
The French soccer federation’s disciplinary commission added a suspended two-match ban to its retribution.
After Rennes won PSG on penalties in the final, the PSG striker reacted furiously to a fan that was recording and orally provoking players as they walked up the stairs to collect their runner-up medals. Orally abused with him by same person were Gianluigi Buffon and Marco Verratti, which they ignored.
The ban commences Monday, ruling Neymar out of PSG’s last two league games, although, he can play with the French champions at Angers on Saturday.
The Champions Trophy between the French champions and the French Cup winners on 3rd of August will also have the absence of Neymar on the pitch.
Together with this ban, this former Barcelona forward has also been suspended for three games by UEFA for insulting the video review officials who awarded Manchester United’s stoppage-time penalty when PSG was crushed from the Champions League.
