In a move to bring Nigeria Police force to a grass root level as well as student’s environment, the Vice Chancellor, Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola, has been named the state Patron of Police-Community-Relation-Committee, PCRC, Ogun state chapter.
Chrisland University, in line with this, got a state status, in person of the VC, prof Chinedum Peace Babalola.
The amiable VC received this remarkable honour during the PCRC inauguration at the University, by the state Commissioner of Police, CP B.D Makama.
CEOAfrica in a chat with the VC learnt that the state chapter of PCRC, however inaugurated two units in the school, student’s units and lecturer’s units.
The launching of PCRC in this great citadel of learning has stepped it up above it contemporaries as the institution is always keen to continue recording a zero crime environment, hence maintain a serene environment for both the school and its environs.
Other dignitaries that graced the inauguration, include; the Ogun state Chairman of PCRC, Pastor M. Lawanson, the Deputy Secretary/Chairman PCRC inauguration committee, Alhaji Faruk Akintude among others.
