The Presiding Bishop of Christ Life Church,a.k.a The Sword of the Spirit Ministries,Bishop Francis Wale Oke yesterday called on President Goodluck Jonathan mobilise all the military apparatus in the Country ,as a matter of urgency to flush out the Islamic sect,Boko Haram from Gwoza .

 Bishop Oke while addressing newsmen queried if we still have a government in the country for Boko Haram sect to declare a caliphate

 He said: "What surprise us most as a Church of God was that after this group of hoodlums had declared the 'Islamic Caliphate' there was no swift reaction from the appropriate organ of government. But , What we are advocating that Federal Government should find ways of evacuating the citizens of this country from the place and deploy all the military arsenal of the Nation to cub the insurgents.

 Bishop oke who also talked about the forthcoming 32nd Annual Holy Ghost Convention which comes up between August 31 to September 7th 2014 and said that "It was a personal affront on the Federal Government , the entire citizens of this Country for a group of hoodlums masquerading in the name of Boko Haram to declare an 'Islamic Caliphate ' and thereby holding the Christians living there and the entire Nation to ransom.

 He added: "Declaring of 'Islamic Caliphate' in Gwoza by the Boko Haram is not acceptable to the Church in Nigeria. If you look at it properly , that area is populated by the Christians. According to the news which I read this morning it was stated that they had occupied the Catholic Church and other Churches in the area.

 "Federal Government have not be able to recover over 200 Chibok girls and other Nigerians abducted by this hoodlums and they are declaring Islamic Caliphate in Country where there is sitting President .President Jonathan should declared full scale war against them and seek assistant from the United State of America and other foreign Countries if need be."

 He called on all politicians to support President Jonathan in fighting Boko Haram and the Ebola disease saying "this is serious challenge to the nation. It is not time to play politics with these two national disease .we must join our President to put an end to them".

 Bishop Wale Oke who is the immediate Vice President of Christians Association of Nigeria CAN, gave kudos to the President Jonathan lead administration for it quick response to the out break of Ebola Virus disease and Babatunde Fasola led government of Lagos State .

 "If not for the quick action of Babatunde Fasola ,and the regular up date of the Hon. Minister of Health Professor Onyebuch Chukwu may be we would have been singing another song now. But they should do more by find drugs that can cure and wipe out the disease from the earth surface."

 Bishop Wale Oke who was flanked by his wife Rev. (Dr.) Mrs Victoria Wale Oke ,Bishop Olumuyiwa Ojo and Pastor Bayo Oladele at the Press conference said that the 32^nd Annual Holy Ghost Convention will start on August 31st and end by September 7th 2014

.He said the convention would be attended by Pastor Adejare Adeboye of the Redeem Christian Church, Bishop David Oyedepo of the Winners Chapel and Bishop Ashimolowo among others shall pray for the country,especially to  over come the deadly Ebola virus disease and the Boko Haram insurgency among others.

 Bishop Wale Oke said all security efforts has been taken to take care of the health situation of the participants at the convention.
