The All Progressives Congress will on Wednesday begin the screening of its aspirants for the various vacant federal and state legislative seats in eight states in preparation for legislative by-elections scheduled to hold in October federation.

The announcement was contained in a press statement titled, ‘APC panel begins aspirants screening for October 31 concurrent Legislative by-elections,’ signed by the Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, in Abuja, on Tuesday.

Nebana said the party will begin screening of aspirants on Wednesday, August 26th, 2020 through Thursday, August 27th, 2020, while the publication of claims and objections will take place on Friday 28th August 2020 while the Independent National Electoral Commission is to conduct legislative by-elections across eight states of the federation.
