ANLCA to hold AGM September 22nd and 23rd

The association of Nigerian licensed customs agents, ANLCA, and the Nationl Executive Council, NEC, will hold her 2020 annual general meeting on the 22nd and 23rd of September, 2020.

The association which made this known while speaking with CEOAFRICA news reporter said the agenda for the meeting is Constitutional Amendment and Board of Trustees Election.

List of attendees include stakeholders from the following locations: Tincan, Ikorudu, Seme, Warri, Kano, PTML, Apapa, Lilypond, KLT, Calabar, MMIA, Abuja, and Idiroko.

Several contestants from the various units have registered for the following elective posts: chairmanship, vice chairman, secretary, assistant secretary, treasure, financial secretary, and the P.R.O.

So far the following units have their voters list verified: PTML, KLT final, Seme zonal, Ijora, Apapa, Abuja, MMIA, Lilypond, Idiroko final, Tincan final, and Ikorodu final.

Chairman ASECO, Alh. Abdulazeez Babatunde warned members that multiple authorization nomination letters would be regarded as willful attempt to subvert the electoral process and the punishment is but not limited to outright voters’ disenfranchisement

He however called for a high sense of cooperation as the ANCLA election draws near.

Meanwhile, the ANLCA & association electoral commission, ASECO, via their official website said the enrolment plan has commenced and called for the registration of members with valid Customs License, in each chapter.
