The area commander, Area J, Ajah, Olugbemi Gbolahan has sustained a severe injury as one of the protesters ran a car over his leg.

The incident was reported to have happened at Ajah area of Lagos on Tuesday.

APC Gbolahan was said to have come around the area to personally monitor and provide security for the protesters.

The protester who was driving recklessly unfortunately hit and ran over him.

Addressing the matter, Lagos State Police Puplic Relations Officer, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, advised the protesters to be calm and coordinated.

”we urgeprotesters to be calm and orderly in Lagos State, as we will not be distracted from doing the right things at all times”.

The Area commander is however receiving treatment at a hospital in Ajah.
