The Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has lost his mother, Madam Abigail Makinde to the cold hands of death on Wednesday, 15th of October, 2020.
Madam Abigail, who died this morning, was preparing to celebrate her 82nd birthday.
The state government has promised to announce the burial arrangements soon, as condolence messages poured in from different quarters.
Madam Abigail died at the ripe old age of 81 and has been described as a hardworking, enterprising and God fearing woman by all who knew her.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
