Hon. Kehinde Oladejo has officially launched his campaign office for the Local Governmnet Election in Oyo State which he decleared to run for Ibadan North-West Local Government Chairman.

The launching which also doubled as his official public declaration held at the PDP Local Government Ward Secretariat, Salvation Army, Ibadan on October 30, 2020.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Oladejo made it  known to the public that he will be contesting for the chairmanship position of Ibadan North-West Local Government Area in 2021 adding that he is ready to serve the good  people  of Ibadan North- West if given the opportunity.

“I offered to serve  as Chairman of Ibadan North-West Local Government Area. I assure you that I am ready to deliver my best,” he said.

Oladejo solicited for the support of the people, assuring them of his readiness to work for the betterment of the community.

The PDP Chairman of Ibadan North-West local Government, Alhaji Lukman Adesina who also witnessed the launching, emphasized the need for cooperation among the members as the ultimate goal is working towards the progress of the  party.

He advised that politics should not be seen as a do or die affair, adding that other aspirants of  the party willing to contest should be given maximum support by members.

The chairman said, “Hon Kehinde is a strong member of the party but we want to make him realize that he should not see it as a do or die affair  because if another candidate  call us, we will still go there”

He however assured that the party would be sincere in its dealing as it is now reformed to serve the people better.

Mr. Simon Egunfemi from ward 10 while speaking with our correspondent opined that good intentions are crucial to good governance, adding that leaders with bad intentions pollute their future as well as the future of their descendant.

Another member of the party who also added to what the chairman said encouraged all members to allow peace reign while working towards the progress of the party.

He added that those ready to contest for any position must have laid a good foundation in their wards towards making a great impact in the society, such a person must be a very active member of the party.

He also appreciated the chairman for his efforts in promoting the party and prayed that God will keep helping him to do better.
