President Muhammadu Buhari and members of the Federal Executive Council at the weekly meeting on Wednesday observed a minute silence in honour the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Office in the Office of the Secretary to Government of the Federation, Babatunde Lawal.

Lawal, who died on Friday, was the cabinet’s Deputy Secretary by virtue of his position in the SGF’s office.

The council was presided over by President Buhari  with some members, including Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, present at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, while others were participating virtually from their offices.
