Professor Onyemachi Maxwell Ogbulu has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of Abia State University with effect from the 1st of December, 2020.

This was made known in a release signed by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Barrister Chris Ezem.

The release reads: “the appointment follows the formal presentation of the recommendation of the Governing Council led by Senator Adolphus Wabara, Ph.D., to the Governor sequel to the expiration of the tenure of the incumbent Vice-Chancellor, Professor Uche Ikonne, on the 30th of November, 2020.
