The Chairman, All Progressives Congress, Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Mai Mala Buni, has named his Jigawa State counterpart, Badaru Abubakar, as chairman of a 20-member election committee for the Bakura, Zamfara State House of Assembly by-election.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the APAC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, in Abuja, on Tuesday.

 The statement was titled, “Zamfara Legislative By-Election: Governors Badaru, Bello, Bagudu, Others Lead Bakura State Constituency APC Election Committee”.

According to the statement, the former APC National Vice Chairman (North-East), Mustapha Salihu, will serve as Secretary of the 20-member committee.

Other members of the committee include Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello (Deputy Chairman), and Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu.

Other members are former Sokoto state governor, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wammako, Deputy Governor of Kano State, Nasiru Gawuna amongst others.
