Marshal 7 Club, a socio-cultural group in Enugu has commended Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State for his alleged decision to choose successor from Nsukka, Enugu North.

The Chairman of the club, Fidelis Ezema, pointed out that Governor Chime in his perspective about the would-be successor, has demonstrated his frankness and a rare civility in leadership in that he has perceived it just for a person from Enugu North to emerge the governor by 2015.

He further analyzed the leadership trail from 1979 up till date, indicating that none of the governors ever emerge from Enugu North.

Fidelis ezema commended Governor Chime for his good, urging egoistic politicians to emulate his demonstration of justice and equity and avoid playing politics with bitterness.

However, the Club advised detractors who are against the governor to have a re-think as Governor Chime has taken the right turn to ensure equity and justice.
