“FG to consider lockdown against second wave of COVID-19”- PTF Coordinator

The National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Dr Sani Aliyu has said that the Federal Government is considering every option to curb the second of COVID-19 in which lockdown is included.
Dr. Aliyu revealed this as the virus has infected 6,000 in the space of one week, while 33 people died of the disease in the same time.
However, he remarked that another lockdown can be averted if Nigerians would comply to the COVID-19 preventive guidelines such as wearing face masks, hand washing, social distancing.
As at today, confirmed cases in the country is totalled 91, 284, discharged cases are 75, 699 while death cases are 1,318.
