Publisher of Sahara Reporters and activist,  Omoyele Sowore, appears at the Magistrate’s Court sitting in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja with handcuffs in his hands.

It is reported that Chief Magistrate Mabel Segun-Bello would preside hear the bail application by Sowore and other four activists with him.

It was disclosed that Sowore, Peter Williams, Juwon Sanyaolu and Damilare Adenola were detained on Monday at Kuje Correctional Centre by a Magistrates’ Court in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja till their bail applications are considered on Tuesday, which is today.

These four activists are accused of criminal conspiracy, unlawful assembly, and attempting to incite others, in which the activists pleaded not guilty of the accusations.
