Edo State High Court, Benin, on Wednesday, has disqualified Audu Ganiyu, the running mate of the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in the September 19th, 2020 governorship election.

Justice H.A Courage-Ogbebor disclosed that Ganiyu presented false information to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in his Form EC9.

The APC governorship candidate, Ize-Iyamu and his running mate, Audu Ganiyu, lost to the incumbent Governor Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state’s last election in September 2020.
