The Management of Chrisland University has taken another lead by resuming her academic activities on Monday, January 11th, 2021 online amidst COVID-19 second wave.

In a statement released after the 74th meeting of the University Management held on Wednesday, January 6, it was disclosed that all students should commence their online lectures with effect from Monday, January 11th in order to keep sustaining the educational standard of the school and ensure smooth running of the academic calendar.

The statement enjoined “All students to complete their manual registration and submit a scanned copy of it to their Heads of Department on or before Friday, January 10.

“The students are to get a clearance from the Registry before being assigned online facilities.”

The University Management, however, urged the students to get a Windows 10 enabled laptop for effective participation in the lectures.

Parents are also implored to support their children while at home for them (the students) to effectively partake in the online teaching and learning.

Recall that Chrisland University is one of the Nigerian Universities to kick start online classes for its students through its HP- Classera, during the last lockdown ordered by the Federal Government on March 29th, 2020.

Chrisland University saw the lockdown as a blessing in disguise to set a pace in the Academic sector through the use of a Learning Management System (LMS) and its HP-Classera to successfully complete a semester academic calendar, thereby set to commence another academic session online.
