Nigerians from all walks of life have frowned at the exclusion of South East in the recent appointment of security chiefs.

Many including the northern elders, Ohaneze Ndigbo have also expressed their displeasure on this.

Also the National Coordinator, South-East APC Presidency Project 2023, Dr. Chinedu Jideofo-Ogbuagu has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to, as a way of reliving the shock and disbelief felt by the people from South East when he excluded them from the recent appointment, appoint a South-Easterner as the Commandant General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp.

In a press statement made available to newsmen, he noted that President Buhari is a listening president and will appoint a South Easterner for the position of a Chief Commandant of the NSCDC in other not to be mocked by its major opposition party the PDP.

According to him, “For those of us in the frontline of marketing APC in the South- East, Mr President would help us by appointing the Commandant General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp from the South-East.
