The good legacy of the dead cannot be easily forgotten as he will always be missed. Forever will his good deeds be talked about and his memories take a permanent place in the hearts of the people he touched their lives positively. This is the case of late Hon. (Dr) Olatoye Temitope Sugar, a man who dedicated all to the service of the masses.
Late Hon. (Dr) Olatoye Temitope Sugar was born on the 2nd of March 1971 and died on the 9th of March, 2019.
He was a member of the Federal House of Representatives, who represented Lagelu / Akinyele Federal Constituency and the chairman, House Committee on Urban Development and Regional Planning for the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Celebrating his 50th posthumous birthday and his two years remembrance, Family and Friends wished the dead can come back to life.
The children in their birthday message prayed that his philanthropic gestures linger while he takes eternal rest in Christ’s bosom,”
The message reads: ‘Happy Birthday Dad. It is so sad that you are no more! We miss your care, love, training and sincerely none can replace you in our hearts but we take solace in the fact that your philanthropic gestures linger while you take eternal rest in Christ’s bosom.’
The younger brother of Late Hon. Sugar, Mr Oladotun Gabriel Olatoye said the shoe his late brother left behind will be hard for anyone to fit into it.
Describing his late brother, he said "Hon Sugar was a man who gave his lives for the sake of the masses and for the love he had for the people of the State. The consolation for us is that his memory lingers on in our heart.’
