The Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) has embarked on a nationwide protest against the attempt of the National Assembly to transfer the National minimum wage from the Exclusive Legislative List to the Concurrent Legislative List.

The TUC and its allies led a peaceful rally and procession to the National Assembly and all State Government Houses today, Wednesday, in Abuja.

According to a statement signed the Secretary General of the Union, Com. (Barr.) Musa-Lawal Ozigi, mni., and made available to CEOAFRICA, the protest was staged against what it called “anti workers policy.”
