The guest speaker at the first phase of the 6th matriculation ceremony of Chrisland University, Dr. Gbenga Adeoye, the Managing Partner, Gbenga Adeoye & Co (Chartered Accountants), has implored the over 300 matriculants of the institution to start well in the new journey they have begun in order to end well.
Adeoye gave the charge to the new intakes while delivering lecture on the topic: “Character, Quality Education: Panacea for Success and Sustainable Wealth Creation.”
He said determination, hardwork and continuous learning are keys to successful ending.
He stressed that the new students must make every effort to always keep their objective of coming to school-learning-in mind.
The guest speaker also advised the matriculants to imbue in them a character that would warrant other people to recommend them for good jobs and better opportunities after graduation.
“Your lecturers have started to watch you from today. The University Management is also watching you, and your classmates are watching you,” he said.
“Can anyone recommend you for a job after your study on account of your character and seriousness?”he asked.
Adeoye further charged the students to value relationship, noting that “Your network determines your network worth.
“Have proper friends; relate with people that can add value; use information from your contacts wisely and for wealth creation,” he enjoined.
